Associate Category Business Manager - Center Store

SUMMARY

Assist in developing business plans that will meet our budgeted sales. Assist in developing warehouse inventory budget and service level budget by category to meet or exceed corporate goals as it relates to inventory and service level. Assist in developing logistic initiatives with all manufacturers quatify savings per initiative. Assist in maintaining warehouse and store inventory levels of assigned category. Insure that negotiated programs are well communicated and well understood by all key stakeholders. Assist in developing planograms that are to be used to implement business plans at store level. Complete weekly analysis of all events and sales items to insure targets are met. Assist in the communication of departmental programs. Work with Store Brands team to develop sales initiatives that will meet our store brands sales, profit and penetration goals (Grocery/GM)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Knows fundamental business concepts, practices and procedures. Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications Good math skills Good analytical skills 1 year of retail experience in assigned department required.
