Step into the world of retail marketing strategy. As a Marketing Strategy Intern, you’ll help the team explore emerging retail media opportunities, analyze competitor campaigns, and identify ways brands can activate within the grocery environment. Through research, insight development, and strategic recommendations, you’ll contribute to real marketing decisions while gaining hands-on experience in how data, partnerships, and market intelligence shape modern retail marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to: Retail media landscape and opportunity summary (what’s happening in the market and implications for our strategy).
  • Contribute to: CPG brand activation research package (target list + activation concepts and rationale).
  • Contribute to: Competitor sponsored marketing event analysis + recommendations (what to emulate/avoid).
  • Support as needed: Support related research requests and insight packaging for the team as assigned.

You will learn:

  • How retail media and sponsored marketing work in the grocery industry.
  • Market/competitive research methods and how insights turn into strategy.
  • How to present recommendations clearly to marketing stakeholders.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic background: Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations
  • Currently enrolled in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Strong research and synthesis skills; ability to turn findings into clear insights.
  • Comfort presenting and writing summaries.

Preferred: 

  • Interest in retail media, partnerships, or campaign planning; prior research/analytics experience a plus.
