Visual Communications Coordinator

SUMMARY

Oversees the workflow of the Visual Communications Services Warehouse to meet project needs and requests. Seeks bids on VCS warehouse supply inventory and orders with managers approval. Monitors and assists with the preventative maintenance of all VCS Warehouse related equipment. Assists VCS Manager in the research, design and production of new signs or fixtures as required. Fulfills store replacement signing requests. Oversees the installation of POS signing for all store conversions and new store openings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and seek bids from external trade partners for VCS Warehouse supplies. Orders/purchases supplies with manager's approval. Maintains inventory of all VCS Warehouse items including store signage and fixtures for chain fulfillment. Oversees the fulfillment and shipment of all store signing requests.
• Responsible for packaging all customer job requests to ensure the correct quantity, quality, labeling, and that distribution is on schedule.
• Coordinates with Digital Press Operator Leader to confirm production and shipping schedules of printed POS are aligned to ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversees the packing and distribution of POS material as needed.
• May direct the work of other VCS teammates when called upon to assist in the VCS Warehouse.
• Corresponds with customers by way of email and/or phone regarding requests, usage, availability and other pertinent information related to signing and/or fixtures within the VCS Warehouse as needed.
• Oversees and performs daily deliveries of outgoing sign materials to the 501 Duanesburg Rd Distribution Center (mail room and produce dock).
• Oversees and directs the members of VCS team while at new and or remodeled store setups.
• Oversees the proper installation of signing and below for all store conversions and new store openings.
• Arranges for and performs out of town travel as needed.
• Perform store audits/surveys for store setups/remodels as needed.
• Assists with performing bindery and finishing functions (i.e. cutting, taping, stapling) of POS related materials as needed.
• Perform store audits/surveys for store setups/remodels.
• Receive product into the Visual Communication Services facility and check inventory against packing slip.
• Ensure that the work environment is maintained in a neat, clean and safe manner.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Satisfactory performance reviews.
• Demonstrated strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey information both verbally and in writing.
• Mechanically inclined.
• Computer skills to include a working knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Procureit.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Basic literacy skills required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years Graphic Arts experience.
