SUMMARY

Our Meat Cutters provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Market 32/Price Chopper customers.

• Responsible for cutting all meat in accordance with trim specifications and guidelines.
• Ensures the quality and freshness of the meat products cut for display in the meat case to promote optimal opportunity for sales.
• Responsible for providing excellent customer service and courtesy on an ongoing basis. Must adhere to all corporate and state sanitation and safety procedures. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver fast, friendly, and helpful customer service at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation following 5S standards
• Cut and prepare meat using tools such as knives, saws, grinders, and cubers.
• Accurately wrap, weigh, and label meat products
• Follow all company standards for meat presentation and case layout
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, food safety, and temperature guidelines
• Receive and handle incoming meat deliveries efficiently
• Help reduce product loss by following shrink control procedures

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
•  Ability to pass a cutting test.
•  Satisfactory Performance Reviews.
•  Strong communication skills.
•  Basic Literacy Skills.
•  Basic Computer skills.
