What You’ll Do:

Deliver fast, friendly, and knowledgeable customer service

Cut and prepare meats according to company trim specs and quality standards
-
Ensure freshness, food safety, and sanitation compliance
-
Support daily meat department operations
-
Assist with department leadership responsibilities (leadership roles)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Consistently work within to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
Responsible for cutting meat using knives, saws, cubers, slicers and grinders.
Responsible for operation of meat department in absence of the meat manager.
Ensure the proper wrapping, weighing, labeling and displaying of all meat merchandise.
Responsible for adhering to all company meat department standards (i.e.: case layout and trim specifications).
Responsible for adhering to proper sanitation and temperature guidelines to include corporate and state inspection standards.
Maintain grind logs, and meat logs consistent with store policy.
Responsible for receiving all meat merchandise (i.e.: DSD and warehouse).
Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
