SUMMARY

Assistant Team Lead ADP Teammates are in an intensive training program to learn all aspects of their respective departments and prepare them for a bonafide position as an Assistant Team Leader. Upon completion of the program, the teammate will be prepared to oversee clerks within department and monitor for proper merchandising, rotation and inventory levels of product to promote an optimal opportunity for sales, assist the department team leader with management of financials, and will provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete all requirements of the training program (both onthejob and classroom) within prescribed timeframes. Maintain a high level of customer courtesy at all times. Ensure that all safety and sanitation regulations are adhered to. Adhere to all corporate policies and procedures. Promotes optimal opportunities for sales. Assist Team Leader with daytoday operation of the department to include product merchandising, shrink control, pricing, product replenishment, signing, planograms and controlling inventory levels. Maintain sales floor, backroom, cooler and freezer standards (where applicable). Ability to use the CGO ordering system as well as the OLOS system (fresh departments). Ability to plan and be able to execute the sales plan while prioritizing and exhibiting a sense of urgency. Exhibit aptitude to manage and motivate others. Write departmental schedules in absence of Team Leader. Understand departmental financials, read reports and formulate plans to positively impact the business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to manage others and demonstrate follow-through to achieve desired results and objectives. Satisfactory performance reviews. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to learn and apply knowledge at an accelerated pace.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Degree or equivalent.
