SUMMARY

Responsible for consistent reporting of all capital project budgets and actuals. Develop, manage and process construction project budgets, budget exceptions and change orders. Prepare project cost comparisons and analysis on past and current projects. Report monthly on current project financial overviews, project variance and cost trending. Maintain alignment of Project Cost Report with Golub accounting software, construction schedule of values and equipment forecasts.  Oversee Contract execution, Small CAPS Initiative and lead small CAP projects as assigned. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop,monitor,coordinate and analyze the PCR to ensure accurate reporting based on project performance. Perform monthly/quarterly variance reports
  • Conduct review and required analysis on assigned projects to identify errors, trends and anticipate budget adjustments. Correct to insurance accurate reporting
  • Lead and manage annual small capital budget; ensure accuracy of requests and verify pricing. Establish Capital Budgets, track progress, monitor costs and identify risk and opportunity areas. Process budget exceptions when necessary
  • Timely reporting on issues affecting cash management and project performance
  • Review monthly billing, AP processing and sub-consultant payments.
  • Coordinate project financial review meetings with key stakeholders. Compile financial documentation and explain issues involving the following:budget,adjustments,and contracting.
  • Analyzes,controls and implements changes to construction cost reporting system. Training users of construction cost reporting system.
  • Support Construction PM in purchase order process and invoice resolution.Review and approve project invoices for payment.
  • Implement processes and procedures to improve workflow and increase efficiencies
  • Coordinate PCR and EQ Forecast with Sr.EQ Coordinator
  • Monitor and process personnel payroll records departmentCreate,manage and monitor internal administrative budgets Review monthly with Director, Design & Construction
  • Periodically review contract documents with Legal, Safety and Insurance 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance preferred or 2-4 years exp. in project accounting in lieu of degree is also acceptable.
