SUMMARY

The Dough Divider Operator is responsible for portioning and scaling mixed dough into consistent sizes to meet product specifications and production needs. This role ensures uniformity, efficiency, and quality as dough moves through the production process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Operate dough dividing equipment to portion dough according to product specifications 
•    Ensure accurate scaling and consistency of dough pieces to meet quality standards 
•    Monitor dough condition and adjust divider settings as needed to maintain product integrity 
•    Transfer divided dough to the next stage of production in a timely manner 
•    Perform visual and physical checks to ensure proper weight, size, and dough quality 
•    Maintain production flow by coordinating with mixer and bench teammates 
•    Follow all Food Safety Plan requirements, including Preventative Controls, sanitation environmental monitoring programs

•    Follow all allergen control procedures, including proper ingredient handling, production sequencing, changeover practices, and cleaning verification to prevent cross-contact

•    Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas 
•    Complete required production logs and documentation accurately 
•    Communicate equipment issues, inconsistencies, or delays to leadership 
•    Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of machine guarding and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) when required
•    Meet production targets for throughput, yield, and schedule adherence while minimizing waste and rework

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to follow product specifications and maintain consistency across high-volume production
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain pace in a production environment
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous bakery, food production, or manufacturing experience preferred
