SUMMARY

Manage the coordination and support of project equipment purchases and installations including communications. Acts a resource to merchandising, operations, design, and other internal teams. Responsible for quality control of equipment in all new and renovated construction projects. Duties include compiling reports, implementing processes, maintaining an accurate inventory and evaluations as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop data requirements and monitor compliance for the incorporation and transfer of electronic data from Store Planning to Procurement.
Develop reporting requirements and monitor compliance for equipment delivery schedules and cost reporting to the Capital Project Analyst and Construction Project Managers.
Prepare Conceptual Equipment Cost Analysis on all proposed construction projects for incorporation into proforma analysis and project approvals.
Review all project equipment estimates and delivery schedules provided by subordinate Equipment Coordinators.
Prepare and present detailed equipment budgets for all capital projects from EQ drawings. Review drawings and provide quantity survey of equipment. 
Identify errors in drawings and advise Store Planner for corrections.
Creates purchase orders for all equipment and small wares to complete assigned projects.
Coordinates the delivery and receipt of equipment for assigned projects with Construction Project Managers. 
Keep Construction Project Managers apprised of potential delays and expedite/minimize impact on construction project schedule.
Coordinates with internal and external teams to schedule/reschedule delivery as needed to maintain project schedules. 
Manages the reuse, refurbishment and/or disposal of existing equipment as required.
Oversees trade partners and suppliers to ensure that all items are received on a timely basis to meet required delivery schedules. 
Respond to inquiries, handle or refer issues regarding vendors, price, purchasing processes etc. as needed
Receive, review, and analyze equipment at site. Provide feedback to team.
Ensure compliance with purchase order and/or agreement terms.
Assist Capital Project Analyst in development and maintenance of Construction Cost Report and progress updates.
Ensure that teams (internal/external) are provided with sufficient and necessary equipment to complete the work at hand.
Manage Building 13 Supervisor and inventory maintained at Building 13.
Oversee sale of equipment for revenue and ensure inventory levels are kept to a minimum.
Manage equipment that has reached its useful life or beyond repair and make appropriate recommendations to Facilities or Project Management.
Manages inventory control procedures to ensure accurate ordering, monitoring and storage of inventory.
Monitor equipment maintenance programs to ensure maximum service life of capital equipment.
Maintains proper inventories for scheduled installations and services.
Ensures that inventory shrinkage due to loss, damage and theft is kept to a minimum.
Develop and maintain project procurement procedures/processes and train Equipment Coordinators in the use of these procedures/processes.
May be assigned other duties as assigned by management.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent problem solving and prioritization skills.

Ability to read and comprehend architectural store plans

Ability to lead by example

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

4 year degree required
2 years additional experience may be substituted for each year of college
9 years in store retail and/or sourcing of retail equipment
