Pay Rate Starting at: Level $19.00/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.

SUMMARY

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. Floral shop manager must possess reasonable knowledge in storing, preparing, and maintaining floral products, as well as demonstrate competency in, inventory control, ordering and receiving product, and scheduling. Strong organizational skills, as well as prioritizing multiple tasks are required. Manager is responsible for setting an example in providing attentive and courteous customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Floral operations, safety, and sanitation
Assist in the achievement of financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense
Fulfill weekly orders in accordance with store policy to ensure adequate supply levels
Prepare customer orders (floral arrangements, plants, balloons, etc)
Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product
Complete all necessary paperwork relating to Floral Department
Ensure proper temperatures are maintained in cooler, and cases and are in working condition
Selection, training and development of Floral associates
Take direction from the produce manager and store manager, perform tasks as assigned
Minimize shrink through proper handling and storing of product
Direct subordinates in implementing plan of action and goal attainment

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
Possess basic computer skills
Possess strong communication skills

Must be at least 16 years of age

Watering Equipment
Computer

Ladder/step stool (must be 18 years of age)
