Pay Rate Starting at: Level \18.00/ hr Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority.
SUMMARY
• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding nightly operations, safety, and sanitation
• Adhere to company policy through proper receiving, handling, storing, and stocking of product
• Assist the grocery department in achieving financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense
• Maintain proper shelf conditions in regards to pricing, cleaning, straightening, rotating, and facing of product
• Adhere to shelf management as it applies to following suggested plan-o-gram layouts and new/discontinued products
• Training, development and scheduling of night crew associates
• File all necessary paperwork required for the night crew department
• Help keep the backroom clean and orderly by organizing, making bales, stacking pallets etc.
• Direct subordinates in implementing plan of action and goal attainment
• Take direction from the night crew manager and act in his or her place when absent
• Vision: seeing, depth perception
• Occasional amounts of sitting, climbing, balancing, repetitive squatting, stepping up and down, lifting/carrying loads up to 65 lbs., pushing/pulling loads up to 400lbs (force of 40lbs.)
• Frequent amounts of standing, walking, lifting/carrying loads up to 25 lb, pushing/pulling loads up to
200 lbs. (force of 20lbs) stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• Constant amounts of reaching, handling, talking, and hearing, feeling, griping, pinching
• Operation of the following:
• Baler/compactor (must be 18 years of age)
• Case cutter (must be 16 years of age)
• Pallet jacks (must be 18 years of age)
• Marking gun
• Computer
• Walkie Stacker (must be 18 years of age)
• Ladder (must be 18 yrs of age)
