SUMMARY
The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. Meat Wrapper is responsible for handling meat and meat products. Wrapper will weigh, wrap, price, and label all meat products, as well as stock shelves and maintain a clean work area. Wrapper is responsible for setting an example in providing attentive and courteous customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Remarkable Customer Service when attending to customer needs
• Adhere to company policy through proper processing, preparation, and packaging of product
• Ensure that pricing on product is correct and clearly marked, communicate with scan coordinator and file maintenance clerk
• Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies regarding Meat operations, safety, and sanitation
• Ensure proper temperatures are maintained in cooler, prep area, freezer, and cases and are in working condition
• Identify all cuts of meat
• Maintain adequate meat supplies and follow suggested plan-o-gram cooler layout
• Maintain proper case conditions, including cleaning, stocking, straightening, and rotating product
• Follow direction of Meat Manager and Manager on Duty, inform appropriate person if problems arise
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 18 years of age
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Possess basic computer skills
• Possess strong communication skills
