SUMMARY:
The Community Relations Intern will support the Tops Stars for Our Troops flag program through coordination, communication, and tracking. The program includes a May to June flag collection period followed by operational processing work that continues into the fall. During the summer internship, the intern will help ensure flags are collected from stores, inventoried, sorted, laundered, coordinated for canton cutting with volunteer organizations, and prepared for packaging and distribution. The program goal is to complete packaging for distribution by Veterans Day, and the intern will produce deliverables and a handoff plan that enables that timeline.
